Sanitation
All information listed below pertains to all residents of Andover Township, including those at Rolling Hills Condominiums.
- Collection items should be placed curbside no sooner than 24 hours prior to pick-up.
- Appropriate container size is 32 gallons with a limit of two (2) per week for trash.
- Freon Appliances—FREON MUST BE REMOVED from Refrigerators/freezers (doors removed), dehumidifiers and air conditioners. If item still has Freon in it, it can be brought directly to the SCMUA where they remove the Freon [$10].
Recycling
Recycling must be placed in a reusable container no larger than 32 gallons with exterior handles (no 55 gallon drums or homemade containers). No plastic bags allowed. Corrugated goods must be flattened and cannot contain any other packing material (peanuts and Styrofoam, etc.). Newspapers and magazines can either be crossed tied and bundled or put in a permanent container with other fiber recycling. We no longer accept rechargeable batteries.
