Recreation Committee
The Recreation Committee has a volunteer chairperson and members, who plan, oversee and run activities that take place year-round for the residents of the Township. Some of these activities are the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Senior Luncheon, Andover Township Day, Christmas Tree Lighting, annual contests such as Miss Andover Township and many more events!

Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of month at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Building. Please refer to the Meetings page for the latest meeting information. The public is welcome to attend the recreation meetings.

Facilities
Hillside Park Hall and House
Hillside Park Barn and House are available for rent March through December. For rental information and a tour of these facilities, by appointment only, please contact the municipal clerk's office. Click here to go to The Barn page.

Hillside Park
Lake Iliff Road to Goodale Road – 500 acres (ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball courts, playground, and pavilion).
Kittatinny Valley State Park
Limecrest Road 2,250 acres Andover-Aeroflex Airport, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding on dirt roads and old logging trails, fishing and hunting, boating (no gasoline motors). See the KVSP website.
Recreation / Sports Leagues
The youth athletic programs in Andover Township are sponsored by private, individual organizations such as Lackawanna Little League. Children from Andover who would like to participate in a football program may join the Newton Braves organization, which also offers cheerleading. The Township offers its facilities at Hillside Park and Goodale Road in support of these programs.
