Andover Township has an immediate opening for a full-time Finance/Tax Clerk to assist both the Chief Finance Officer and the Tax Collector with the daily operations of the Township, including but not limited to: records management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, tax payment processing and posting. The successful candidate must have exemplary customer service skills. Prior experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Edmunds Tax and Finance Suite is a plus and Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel is required. Excellent growth opportunity for an applicant looking to advance a career in municipal tax and finance, with incentives to obtain Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO), Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) and/or Certified Tax Collector (CTC) certifications. Hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM, M-F. Full benefit package including medical, prescription, dental, and pension plans. Starting salary range $45,000 to $50,000.
